  • Source water of the soft hot spring: Yugawara Onsen

    A valley village full of natural beauty and atmosphere extending along the Chitose River from Manazuru to the Hakone mountains.
    From the Manyo times, in the Nara period of more than 1,500 years ago, it has continued to be loved by people as a soft hot spring that is gentle on the skin.
    Yugawara Onsen, the only hot spring resort that is written of in the Man'yoshu book of poetry. A rich source of high-quality hot spring water that has continued to heal visitors over the ages.
